Imagine just for a moment how much could be done for Bill White, if people didn’t keep stabbing him in the back on the internet? Florida Update

Bill’s been a bit quiet of late due to being transported around the country which naturally is disruptive of course. But I have recently heard from him, and a date for the Florida trial has been set as July 1st. Not too far away, so perhaps Florida has the legal process a bit more ‘stream-lined’ than Roanoke.

On the other hand, according to Bill the John Polk Correctional Centre where is he currently placed is very badly maintained – since Bill has by now seen most prisons in the country this must mean it’s ***really bad***

From what Bill was describing, it sounds like its full of human rights violations. He says the conditions are terrible. Bill says he got placed in isolation there in some awful dingy room for refusing to accept a plea bargain.

On the positive side, he’s allowed to read in this jail so you can send him books again. Only softcovers however. Apparently prisoners whack each other around the head with hardbacks so they aren’t allowed in prisons/jails. I guess some people are really into heavy reading and brow beating others. I’ll post an updated book list tomorrow.

Bill has lost everyones addresses also, so you will have to send him another letter if with your address on it if you want him to write to you.

Been Moved Again – Now in FTC Oklahoma

Bill has been moved again – fortunately for him the transit to Florida appears to be quicker than the usual month long exodus, wherein he travels around the whole country for a trip that should take only a couple of days (presumably the government does this not only to make the trip more unpleasant for Bill, but also to waste more of the average citizens tax funds).

For those of you who sent post to Bill’s Salem address, this means he probably won’t receive them. So, here is the next address. Again, I cannot state how long he will be here before he gets shifted to face the very important web trolling incident in Florida.

As Bill is currently moving around a lot, please use  the Poisoned Pen address (on the side) for donations until he arrives at a semi-permanent location if you are using post.

Cash, money orders, cashier’s checks or checks from other correctional facilities will be accepted through
the postal system or in person.
If money is delivered in person to the WVRJ, a secure money lockbox and envelopes are available in the lobby.
Please ensure that all information requested on the envelope is completed. Money can also be placed onto an inmate’s account through the ATM located in the lobby. Funds deposited through the ATM are credited to the inmate account immediately. ****There is a fee for cash deposits ($2.00) and credit card deposits (10% of amount deposited or $2.50 – whichever amount is greater)
Any currency an inmate brings into the jail will be credited to his/her inmate account to pay debts and purchase commissary items.

Certified checks and money orders must be made payable to the Western Virginia Regional Jail Inmate Account.

Personal checks will not be accepted by the jail.

Money received will be placed on the inmate’s account and a receipt will be issued.
